The above quote is from a unique media and political personality Mr. Nabil Miskinyar who has devoted most of his life on par with modernity always stand tall for the interest of his homeland. And most likely at the tremendous cost of his financial and family quality of life. Such constant public broadcasting does not come free from consequences even in the center of free-speech.
I happen to agree with him and add that most Afghan intellectuals are opportunistic, birth-based time lapsed conditioned, self-centered rely on personal feeling and distance themselves from the analytical analysis of the concept.
Let me throw on the spot a practical example: a gentleman encouraged Mr. Jahani Sahib to rewrite his article in both official languages of Afghanistan. Which he did as requested an extended version of it in 6 parts. So far there is no feedback at all even from the encouraging individual for such a one-of-a-kind logic and fact-based analytical article.
